The Official Movie Poster for 'Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy'

The official poster for the comedy movie Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy has been released by Star Cinema. The poster features the main characters from the film posing in a photo collage that forms a Christmas tree. An official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival, the movie will start showing in cinemas come December 25, 2013.

Helmed by director Wenn V. Deramas, Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy is headlined by comedian Vice Ganda. In the film, Ganda portrays four characters. Joining him in the cast are Joey Marquez, JC De Vera, Kiray Celis, Maricel Soriano, Ruffa Gutierrez, Cristine Reyes, Ejay Falcon and Xyriel Manabat. Catch the movie in theaters near you starting on December 25.

ABS-CBN Star Cinema Releases Full Trailer for Comedy 'Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy'

The full trailer for the comedy movie Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy starring Vice Ganda is now out and you can watch it below. Scheduled to premiere on Christmas Day, the film features Ganda playing four different characters. The characters are quadruplets who have varying gender orientations. One is a girl. One is a boy. One is gay (bakla). And one is a lesbian (tomboy).

The movie is a co-production by Star Cinema and Viva Films. It's directed by Wenn V. Deramas (Momzillas, Bromance, Sisterakas, This Guy's In Love with You Mare, Moron 5 and the Crying Lady, The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin).

The cast of Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy are as follows: Vice Ganda, Maricel Soriano, Joey Marquez, Xyriel Manabat, Kiray Celis, JM Ibanez, Rhed Bustamante, Cristine Reyes, Ejay Falcon, JC De Vera and Ruffa Gutierrez.

Boy Girl Bakla Tomboy Cast - Vice Ganda Movie

Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy is an upcoming Tagalog movie with a cast led by Vice Ganda, Maricel Soriano and Gabby Concepcion. It will be directed by Wenn Deramas, the director behind Sisterakas, This Guy's In Love with You Mare, Moron 5 and the Crying Lady, The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin, Petrang Kabayo and the Tanging Ina movie series.

Shooting will reportedly start on February 12, 2013. No release date has been announced yet.

This will be the first time that Vice Ganda who currently hosts It's Showtime on ABS-CBN and Maricel Soriano team up in a major movie project. In the film, Vice Ganda will portray four characters. Soriano and Gabby Concepcion will play the parents of Ganda's character.

This Guy's In Love With You Mare is a comedy offering from Star Cinema. It's a movie topbilled by Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano. The film will mark comedian Vice Ganda's third appearance as a lead in a movie. The first two are Petrang Kabayo and The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin.

The movie is directed by Wenn V. Deramas (Moron 5 and the Crying Lady, Who's That Girl, Ang Tanging Ina).

Here's a list of the best and greatest Vice Ganda films:

1. Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat (2007) – This movie is about four Filipino female friends who travel to another country and work as domestic helpers. Their world turns upside down when one of them gets beaten to death by her employers. The other three friends decide to accompany and bring their dead friend back home. Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat stars Candy Pangilinan, Pokwang, Eugene Domingo and Ruffa Mae Quinto as the four friends. Joining them in the cast are John Lapus, DJ Durano, Christian Vasquez, Dick Israel, Vice Ganda and Marissa Delgado.

4. In My Life (2009) – This is a film with a gay theme. Directed by Olivia Lamasan, major portions of it had been filmed in New York City. It stars Luis Manzano, John Lloyd Cruz, Vilma Santos-Recto, Nikki Valdez, Vice Ganda, Dimples Romana, Rafael Rosell, Tirso Cruz III and Paw Diaz..

5. Noy (2010) – Directed by Dondon Santos, this is an independent film about a journalist shooting a documentary on the campaign trail of a presidential candidate during the 2012 Philippine National Elections.

Noy was the Philippines' entry to the 83rd Academy Awards for the Best Foreign Language Film category. However, it did not make it to the final shortlist.

The movie stars Coco Martin, Erich Gonzales, Joem Bascon, Cheska Billiones, Cherry Pie Picache (You're My Home), Vice Ganda and Baron Geisler.

6. Hating Kapatid (2010) – This is about two sisters whose lives take different turns when their OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) parents return home from abroad. Hating Kapatid stars Judy Ann Santos, Sarah Geronimo, JV De Vera, Luis Manzano, Vice Ganda, Gina Pareno, Cherry Pie Picache, Tonton Gutierrez and DJ Durano.

7. Petrang Kabayo (2010) – This is a remake. It's about a boy who runs away from home then gets adopted by a wealthy lady. Because of his abusive manners, he was given this curse wherein he turns into a horse every time he gets angry or harms other people.

Petrang Kabayo stars Vice Ganda, Abby Bautista, Luis Manzano, Gloria Romero, Sam Pinto, Candy Pangilinan, and DJ Durano.

8. The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin (2011) – This is about a gay son born to a military family. Principal actors in the cast include Vice Ganda, Jimmy Santos, Eddie Garcia, Derek Ramsay, Nikki Valdez, Kean Cipriano, DJ Durano, Vandolph Quizon and Ricky Rivero.
