Pagpag is an upcoming Filipino film starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. It's a teen suspense-horror-thriller film inspired by a well-known superstitious belief wherein one is discouraged of going straight back home after attending a funeral. It is believed that if you do, you will bring with you a curse or some evil spirits into your own home.
With that said, you have to pagpag or shake off the curse or evil spirits before you head back home. Since Pagpag is an official entry in the 2013 edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival, it will be released on December 25, 2013, the day the festival kicks off.
