The three judges for the newest reality singing program on TV5 has been named and they are Ryan Cayabyab, Lani Misalucha and former Rivermaya vocalist Rico Blanco who also acts as host for the show. Kanta Pilipinas will start airing on February 9, 2013. It's a show that's co-produced by TV5 and Futuretainment Inc.

Ryan Cayabyab is no stranger to judging singing contests like Kanta Pilipinas. He has served as judge in shows like Philippine Idol and Pinoy Dream Academy.


Lani Misalucha, on the other is a popular singer and television host. She has appeared in music-inclined shows like SOP Rules, ASAP and Talentadong Pinoy. So far, she has released seven studio albums the latest of which is the 2008 Christmas album titled The Gift of Christmas.

And last but not the least, there's Rico Blanco, the multi-talented musician who is most known by music fans for his stint as lead vocalist of the rock band Rivermaya. He's currently doing music as a solo artist having left Rivermaya in 2008.
