Donna Policar, a writer for the Philippine Daily Inquirer said that she personally witnessed presidential adviser Ronald Llamas buying pirated DVDs at a mall in Quezon City. She also took a photo of the Aquino Cabinet member while the latter was browsing through stacks of pirated DVDs. Policar posted the photo along with an article on the PDI official website. According to the article, Llamas bought almost PHP2000 worth of pirated DVDs.
This is not the first time that Llamas was put in a hot spot. Three months ago, a high-power assault rifle was found in his SUV by the police.
